Book Review Scooby-Doo! andt the carnival creeper

Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby went to the Pops' Big Top Carnival. Scooby was very excited because he loves carnivals and carnival foods. They bought tickets and walked through the front gate. There were many things in the carnival, the carousel and other rides were straight ahead, off to the left they could see a row of carnival games, down to the right they could see a row of brightly colored tents, behind them, just inside the front gate, they saw a row of large posters. These were about the laughing elephant, Astoundo the strongest man in the world, and etc,.
After they saw these posters, Astoundo, the strongest man in the world walked right past them, and then, he stopped behind the ticket booth and knocked on the door. He was holding a short piece of rope, and Pops Warner, the Carnival owner opened door and stepped out. Astoundo said that someone cut his tent's rope and he saw the creeper running away from his tent, and he will leave if Pops couldn't catch the creeper. They overheard what Astoundo was saying, and they asked Pops to give some helps. Suddenly, a tall man wearing a blue plaid suit appeared. He was eating popcorn, and said some sarcasm to Pops. Pops said back to the man with blue plaid suit that he won’t sell his carnival and won’t make the man build mall, and leave here. But the man retorted that he was a paying customer, and he took the map of the carnival out of his pocket. Then, he dropped the bag of popcorn and walked away. Shaggy and Scooby dove for the popcorn and grabbed it. Daphne asked Pops that who the man was. Pops answered that he was J.J. Plenty, and he was a local businessman, and he wants to build his mall. After answering Daphne’s question, Pops suggested them to have fun, so they started to have fun. Suddenly an old woman said to them to leave. They were very surprised, and she said to them to go home and attend to your study. They thought she was a strange woman, and they ignored. They split up and then meet at the carousel. Shaggy and Scooby ran off toward the carnival booths.
Shaggy and Scooby walked down the long row of carnival games, and Shaggy was eating a snow cone, Scooby was eating some cotton candy. Suddenly, a man talked to them. He said to them to try his game. His game was Stitch Morgan’s baseball game. The rule is knock three milk bottles with baseball. They decided to try this game, and Shaggy paid one dollar. The man gave him three baseballs. Shaggy missed first and second balls, so this is last ball. He picked up the last baseball, and he gripped it in his right hand. He leaned over a bit and closed both his eye, and then he threw the ball with his all might. He did it!! He opened his eyes and saw the three milk bottles on the floor, but when he looked up to see the table, he saw the creeper standing there instead of the man. Shaggy and Scooby were very frightened and ducked and covered their heads. The people at the other games started screaming and running away. The creeper ran down the midway and he disappeared into one of the tents. Shaggy and Scooby slowly raised their heads and looked around. The man came out from under the table, and he gave them a prize. The prize was a great bit stuffed teddy bear. It was blue with an orange bow tie, and Scooby really liked this. He started wagging his tail, and Shaggy put the bear on Scooby’s back.
Shaggy and Scooby walked up to Fred, Daphne and Velma at the carousel. Shaggy started telling about the creeper that they saw at the carnival games. They were very surprised to hear that. Suddenly, the attendant at the carousel talked to them, she asked them to ride the carousel, because she has to run it anyway so people can hear the music all over the carnival. She introduced herself, and she was a daughter of the carnival’s owner, Mr. Pops. Fred didn’t want to ride the carousel because he ate too much popcorn, but Scooby was already seated on one of the horses. Shaggy and other friends didn’t ride, but the daughter of the owner, Maisy walked toward the center of the carousel and opened the door and reached inside, she pulled a lever and the carousel slowly started moving. Suddenly, everyone heard Maisy was yelling that there was a creeper. Fred yelled to Maisy to stop the ride quickly, and she raised to control lever. As the carousel slowed down, the creeper escaped and ran into the carnival. After that, Pops ran over to them, and he asked them that everything is all right. They were all right, but they decided to solve this problem.
Velma, Shaggy and Scooby went to the Boosie, the laughing elephant’s tent to find some clues, and Daphne and Fred went to the Astound’s tent to find some clues. In the Boosie’s tent they heard Bossie was laughing. They found that Bossie laughs when she heard someone is laughing. Bossie wanted Scooby’s teddy bear and he gave that Bossie, and she gave him a peanut. Velma found a clue in the Bossie’s tent. After Velma found the clue, she went back to the carousel and Scooby and Shaggy went to buy some snacks. On the way to buy snacks, they met the creeper again!! They ran away from the creeper, but the creeper chased them. They ran into the Fun House, and he also came in. In the Fun House, they found themselves in a hall of mirrors. There were many funny mirrors. Shaggy stood in front of the mirror which made him look extremely tall and skinny, and he said he is as tall as a telephone pole. Scooby stood in front of the mirror which made him look really short and stumpy, and he said that he is a hot dog!! They couldn’t help laughing. The creeper was also laughing because he stood in front of the mirror which made him look wiggly like a piece of spaghetti. While the creeper was laughing, Shaggy and Scooby ran away. The creeper chased them and caught Scooby, and they ran into the spinning tunnel. Scooby crawled out, but the creeper trapped in the tunnel, and he was spinning around and around. Suddenly, a piece of paper flew out of the tunnel, and it was a map of the carnival. They used this and went back to the carousel.
Back at the carousel, Fred, Daphne, Velma was comparing the clues that they found, and Maisy was listening to it. Fred and Daphne found a huge pile of red and white popcorn bags. Velma found a crumbled-up red paper bag. After seeing these clues, they found that the creeper likes popcorn. Then, Shaggy and Scooby ran up to the carousel. They explained that what happened to them. Fred made a plan to catch the creeper. Daphne and Maisy went to find Pops and asked him to meet them at the Ferris wheel. Velma and Fred was stationed at the Ferris wheel and waited for the Creeper. Shaggy and Scooby were also with them, but they had to lure the creeper to the Ferris wheel. Scooby didn’t want to do that, but Maisy said she would give him two Scooby snacks and all the cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones that Scooby can eat. So Scooby decided to do.
When Shaggy and Scooby was eating popcorn, they realized that most of the games were closed. They found the man at the baseball game, and he told them the reason. Pops decided to close early today because of the creeper. Suddenly, it became quiet in the carnival, and then Shaggy and Scooby heard the creeper moaning in the distance. As soon as they heard that, they ran and ran. The creeper chased them. They ran through the Boosie’s tent and arrived at the Ferris wheel. Fred said to them to come the booth, and Shaggy went there, but Scooby didn’t hear what Fred said, so he ran into one of the cars on the Ferris wheel. The creeper was about to grab him when Scooby was in the car. The creeper also ran into the car. He tried to catch Scooby, and he climbed to the Scooby’s car. Suddenly everyone felt the ground shake, Bossie came to help Scooby!! She stood up on her rear legs, and raised her head and extended her trunk. Her trunk reached the bottom of Scooby’s car. Scooby closed his eyes and slid down to her trunk. Now, Scooby was safe, but the creeper was trapped. A little while later, police came and arrested the creeper. Pops reached over and pulled off the creeper’s mask.

It was Astoundo!!

Pops was very surprised, but Fred and his friends didn’t. They already knew that. He became a creeper because he was tired of getting second billing to an elephant, and he was going to make a deal with Mr. Plenty. Astoundo was arrested and went to the police, but Mr. Plenty asked Pops to go into business together.
Pops said thanks to Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby, but Scooby wasn’t there. He was in the Boosie’s tent with her. They were playing, and Scooby and his teddy bear perched atop Bossie’s head. She picked up some popcorn with her trunk and tossed it in to the air, Scooby jumped up and gobbled it down. Scooby enjoyed that and barked “Sooby-Dooby-Doo!” happily.
