Book Review California

California is called “The Golden State”, because many people came there to look for gold and silver in the mountains. Now, there are not so much gold and silver, but there are some biggest cities in the world. More than three million people live there, and millions more visit California every year. California is the third biggest state in the United States. Texas and Alaska are the bigger than California. There are many exciting places in California, Disneyland, Hollywood, and many beaches.
But 150years ago it was just a land of deserts and mountains. Many people from all of the world and other parts of the United States came to California in 1849 to find gold, so they were called Forty Niners. From this year, California became a big state. After the Gold Rush, California became a state of Movies. Hollywood is the very famous for movie. American film-makers came to Hollywood because the weather was good all through the year, and because Californian workers were cheap.
There are many redwood forests and other nature parks in the north, many deserts in the south, many lakes and mountains in the east, and many beaches in the west.
There are everything for everyone.
